Jonathan Hernandez, 40, turned himself in on Wednesday after being wanted by the Lubbock Police Department on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
According to court documents obtained on Wednesday by EverythingLubbock.com, a juvenile who was close to Hernandez advised officers back in April 2024 that Hernandez had committed sexual acts on her without her consent. She was underage on multiple occasions, with the incidents beginning in February 2021
The juvenile participated in a forensic interview in April of this year and made consistent statements. Court documents also show Hernandez participated in a phone interview in May, where he denied the allegations and agreed to a polygraph test.
Court records show Hernandez did not show up and had not answered his phone since.
Hernandez is in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $150,000 bond.
