Joshua Michael Klemme, 34, was sentenced to 19 years in federal prison after authorities found nearly 200 photos and 33 videos of child sexual abuse on his phone. One of the videos involved a toddler, because apparently this guy wanted to cement his place in the deepest circle of hell.

Klemme was arrested back in January during “Operation Janus,” a DPS sting meant to catch predators and rescue children. Investigators traced him thanks to a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which flagged the fact that he was uploading this garbage online. When police followed up, they found not only the stash but also evidence he’d been sharing it with others over a messenger app.

After serving nearly two decades, Klemme will get ten more years of supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender. Which, frankly, is the bare minimum.

Nineteen years feels light for crimes this vile—shame you can’t duct-tape someone’s sentence shut the way he tried to lock away his hard drive.
