Federal prosecutors say Justin Cale Jones, 31, of Lubbock, has agreed to plead guilty to one count of producing child pornography. Investigators say Jones coerced a 10-year-old into making sexually explicit videos — “approximately 20 to 30” times — and admitted he may have distributed them online.
Authorities found multiple child sexual abuse videos on his phone when he was arrested back in February. He now faces a sentence of up to 30 years in federal prison, plus mandatory sex offender registration if the judge accepts his plea deal.
For now, Jones remains in federal custody awaiting sentencing. In other words: the community can rest a little easier knowing this predator isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
From 41st Street to a federal cell — looks like Jones just filmed the final episode of his own freedom.
