Winston Jeffs, 34, has officially joined Lubbock’s ever-expanding lineup of men accused of crimes involving children. Federal court documents show he’s been indicted for receipt and distribution of child pornography, plus possession of content involving a prepubescent minor—because apparently one charge wasn’t revolting enough.
He’s scheduled to appear before a U.S. judge in Lubbock, where, if history is any guide, the courtroom is probably starting to feel like a revolving door for this kind of case.
Is it too much to ask for one week—just one—without a new “Lubbock man indicted for child sex crimes” headline?
