Lubbock Public Health reports spread of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease at local daycares

Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease has been reported at several Lubbock daycares.

The Lubbock Public Health Department is urging parents to be aware of symptoms to prevent catching or spreading HFMD.

While there is no vaccine to protect against the virus, it is usually not serious, and most people recover within seven to 10 days, according to the CDC.
