Eighteen-year-old Andrew Acevedo was arrested after a violent ordeal that left a woman fearing for her life. According to police, Acevedo, who knew the victim, escalated an argument into a nightmare that involved kidnapping, threats with a gun, and sexual assault.

The woman initially managed to flee to a gas station and asked an employee to call for help since Acevedo had taken her phone. But before police could arrive, Acevedo showed up armed and forced her into his car with the charming line: “Don’t make me do this again.” From there, things only got worse.

Court documents say once they reached his apartment, Acevedo assaulted the victim multiple times—first dragging her by the hair, then sexually assaulting her, and later attacking again when she tried to use his phone’s panic feature. Police later arrested Acevedo on Huron Avenue, where he was hit with multiple felony charges and is now cooling his heels in jail on $185,000 bond.

Eighteen years old and already facing a rap sheet that sounds like a Netflix true-crime episode. Maybe instead of “Don’t make me do this again,” Acevedo should’ve said, “Don’t expect me to see daylight again.”
