Federal court records obtained on Thursday stated that Noel Jesus Aguilar, 20, has taken a federal plea agreement to Enticement of a Minor.
Aguilar admitted that from May 5, 2025, to May 24, 2025, he knowingly engaged in sexual contact with a child younger than 17.
At the time, Aguilar was 20 years old and lived outside the State of Texas. In May 2025, the victim, referred to as Jane Doe, was 13 years old and lived in Ralls, Texas.
On May 5, 2025, Aguilar added Jane Doe as a connection on a social media site. Aguilar was living in New Mexico and then Kansas during the month of May 2025.
Aguilar and Jane Doe exchanged photographs of each other, and their communication quickly became sexually explicit, court records said. He drove from Roswell, New Mexico to Ralls, Texas, to engage in sexual activity with Doe. Court records said Doe snuck Aguilar into her residence through the front door, while her mother and sister were sleeping, Afterwards Doe’s sister awoke and found Aguilar in bed with her. Doe’s mother and sister confronted Aguilar, who fled the residence while covering his face. Aguilar did not have any contact with Doe until May 23, 2025, when she got her phone back from her mother.
The following are messages sent by Aguilar to Doe:
“You can live with me. No one will find you. I’ll be getting there around 10.”
“I bought a red truck. I’m not in my blue truck. As long as no one sees you get in. But once your mom finds out, she’s going to call the cops. And then they’re going to be looking for you. I’ll kill a cop if I have to.”
Aguilar then began messaging Doe about traveling to Texas from Kansas, where he had moved to. Aguiar made a plan to pick up Doe and take Doe back to his new residence in Syracuse, Kansas. Doe’s mother saw the text messages and immediately called law enforcement.
The Crosby County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to Doe’s mother’s call. Due to Aguilar actively making efforts to travel from Kansas to Texas to pick up Doe, a sergeant with the CCSO directed Doe’s mother to maintain contact with Aguilar through social media, posing as Doe. This was done because at the time, Doe and Aguilar were sharing each other’s locations.
The CCSO sergeant obtained a state arrest warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child and Online Solicitation of a Child. He directed an operation to arrest Aguilar in Ralls, Texas, as Aguilar responded to the area to pick up Doe. Aguilar arrived and was taken into custody.
If Aguilar’s plea is accepted, he will be sentenced at a later date and faces up to life in prison.
