    Texas measles outbreak: 702 cases reported across the South Plains as of May 6

    The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) reported 702 cases of measles cases in an update on Tuesday, May 6.

    At this time, 702 cases have been confirmed since late January. This is an increase of 19 since the May 2 update.

    As of Tuesday morning, Lubbock County had 51 confirmed measles cases.
