Corey Dellinger has been accused of stalking and terroristic threats to multiple Lubbock individuals, according to court documents.
Dellinger, 36, was reported originally by a family member in March. Court records said Dellinger had accused another family member of “sleeping with his wife” and made threats.
Court records said Dellinger posted threats on social media in March that said, in part, “Tell me Good again and watch me murder my [family member]…” The post also included threats of sexual assault.
On July 9, court documents stated that another family member contacted police and let them know that Dellinger had been released from a mental health facility and was “making threats of harm and death towards family.”
On the same day, court documents stated police got a report that a man was standing on a dam and yelling at people.
According to the court documents, an officer saw the man but continued on as he was no longer yelling. The officer was later flagged down by a man at a picnic table with his wife and three children. Court records said the man told police Dellinger went to their table and began to ask about the children. The father offered his hand out for a handshake, which Dellinger said was a threatening gesture and it would get the man killed. Court records said Dellinger started walking away and said he was going to get a gun to come back and kill him and shook his pocket as if there was a firearm.
Officers, according to court documents, arrested Dellinger and advised of a separate incident where he stopped another citizen and said he was with “Anonymous.” The citizen thought Dellinger was a Youtuber. Court records said Dellinger got back in his car and said he was going to “get her” and displayed a knife.
As of Monday morning, Dellinger was in the Lubbock County Detention Center on charges of stalking and terroristic threats with bonds totaling $130,000.
