The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office says four people were shot Monday in what they’re generously calling a “series of incidents.” First came gunfire at a game room on 92nd and Avenue P, where deputies found two victims, then a third who had already been driven to the hospital.
Authorities later tied in another shooting on 110th and Avenue P, plus one more at a Slaton Allsup’s. At first Slaton PD claimed their incident was “isolated,” but LCSO cleared that up—nope, all connected.
The Sheriff’s Office insists the suspect is in custody and there’s “no danger to the public.” Because apparently, nothing says “safe” like a Monday full of bullets flying across multiple neighborhoods.
In Lubbock, four shootings in one day is just called “rush hour.”
