Federal records show four Lubbock-area men were indicted on child pornography charges this week, because of course they were. It’s almost like every time you blink, another predator pops up in West Texas.
The charges are grim: Osbaldo Moreno allegedly bragged to coworkers about having sex with a 16-year-old at his job in Lamesa. Kutter Webb was caught with material involving prepubescent children, along with distributing it. Shemar Cameron Green racked up five separate counts, and David Nicholas Espinoza was charged with both possession and transportation of child pornography.
It’s an ugly roll call, but sadly not a surprising one given the recent string of similar arrests in and around Lubbock.
At this point, the federal courthouse should just install a revolving door for Lubbock sex offenders—it’d save everyone the trouble.
